Kate Hudson?s Baby Son: Here?s the Scoop

She gave birth to a healthy and happy baby boy on Saturday night (July 9) and Kate Hudson is thrilled to be a mom for the second time.

The ?Fool?s Gold? actress and her rocker boyfriend Matthew Bellamy still haven?t released the name of their child, but Kate did leak a few details via email.

Hudson revealed that her baby boy weighs 7lbs. 12 oz., putting him two ounces heavier than David and Victoria Beckham?s daughter Harper Seven.

And rather than have family and friends buy gifts for her newborn, Kate has asked that everyone buy trees to be planted by Barcham Trees, the same idea she used for her June 5th baby shower.
